Baked Maple Pistachio Camembert

Cheese. Do you see that full stop? Yup, cheese is amazing. But combine that with roasted pistachios and some Canadian maple syrup and what you get is some gooey goodness.

It takes less than 20 mins and you can just serve this to anyone and they will be happy! Do not wait! Get that cheese, stick it in the oven and serve with some toasted bread.

Baked Maple Pistachio Camembert

Prep time : 5 mins

Servings : 4-6 people


1 wheel of Camembert (250gms)

1/4 cup toasted pistachios

1 tsp chilli flakes

2 tbsp Canadian Maple

Salt flakes

Freshly crushed pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan-forced).

  2. Unwrap the wheel of cheese, score the top of the cheese a few times and put it on a baking dish or a small 5 inch round baking tin.

  3. Add half the crushed pistachios by pushing it in to the scored top, sprinkle 1/2 tsp of the chilli flakes, salt and pepper.

  4. Bake for 15 mins

  5. Remove from oven, add the remaining pistachios, drizzle with maple and serve with your fav toasted bread!!


  1. If you cannot find Camembert, you can also use Brie.

  2. If you do not like nuts, you can also add fried bacon.

  3. If you cannot find roasted pistachios, roast your pistachios in your preheated oven for 5-10 mins. Keep an eye out as it burns fast.
